• Downloading several attachments at the same time will overwrite existing files with the same names without warning.
• Reminder icons render poorly in Calendar Index view.

• Dragging a link directly to the Bookmarks folder does not create the appropriate name.

• Icon locking bit now works correctly (takes icon out of auto arrange order, and prevents drag from sticking).

FirstClass Client 9.002 Features, Fixes and Changes
General
• Search functions in the message body updated to work in UTF8. This includes selection by word, spell check, search and replace. All of these functions were broken in the presence of non-7-bit character codes.
• All text input and output to the client is now Unicode with UTF8 encoding. New content (messages, documents, etc) should be tagged as UTF8, and all non-Unicode (legacy) content is translated in memory as the user views it. Editable non-UTF8 items are converted to UTF8 if the user attempts to edit them.
• Adding new contact from phone message now knows it's a phone number.
• Allow secondary sorting of contacts through quicksort button on toolbar.... (First/Last),(Last/First),(Company/Last),(Group/Last).
• Adds First/Middle/Last name when adding new contact if email address has that information.
• Icon Text Wrapping is now adjustable through the icons tab on the change view properties form.
• Added checkbox for choice of which set of email addresses to use when using a contact.
• Added ability of 'revealing/scrolling' window, for chat invite stuff.
• Two new commands added...New From Conference and Reply From Conference. These are available from the New Message Special and Reply Special submenus respectively.
• A Lock icon now appears for any encryption, not just CAST-128 at the bottom right corner of FirstClass Desktop.
• Space bar scrolling in message bodies moves one whole screen at a time instead of 1/3.
• Holding down shift when pressing down on a nav bar button will open the object in a new window (changed from Ctrl/option which conflicted with the short cut keys).

- On a collapsed thread, tapping right will first open the thread, then descend into it, then resume the previous "nudge" behavior
- Left will do the opposite.
- shift-combos with those keys will select as expected.
Calendar
• Calendar event override fields now override properly (eg. alarm time, color).
• Fixed a bug with code generated time zones (eg. UTC).
• Time zone code rewritten to directly parse tzdata files.
Exporting
• Fixed some Import/Export issues.
• Some RTF Import/Export issues.
Other
• Improved packet debugger.
• MP3 player now supports QuickTime atoms in MP3 files.
• Fixed bug on certain MP3 files that had a blank header less than 1024 bytes, where they appeared corrupt.
