CENTRINITY COMPLETES FIRST PHASE OF IMPLEMENTATION OF FIRSTCLASS AT TUSKEGEE UNIVERSITY

FirstClass selected by University to improve communications and responsiveness

RICHMOND HILL, ON, CANADA, February 28, 2002 - Centrinity Inc. (TSE: CTI), the developers of the FirstClass Communications Platform, today announced that it has completed the first phase of implementation of FirstClass at Tuskegee University.  The company completed the sale of 4,000 FirstClass Collaborative Groupware and 400 Unified Communications licenses to the Alabama-based University last December.

Tuskegee is deploying FirstClass Collaborative Groupware to all users at the University. A select group of its administrative staff, faculty and students will be using FirstClass Unified Communications. Centrinity's FirstClass Communications Platform is part of a complete refurbishment of Tuskegee's communications infrastructure, designed to improve communications and responsiveness both internally and externally.

According to Tuskegee's Office of Network Services director, Abraham George, the University was looking for a communications solution that would evolve with the needs of the faculty and students.

"We found that with previous vendors' systems we were more susceptible to viruses and crashes and that a number of our students were getting frustrated and turning to free accounts available through the Internet," said Mr. George. "Our teachers were using the existing system from another vendor and communications between the university and the outside world were becoming disjointed."

"After reviewing a number of communication solutions available on the market we selected FirstClass Collaborative Groupware and Unified Communication technologies because of its proven track record for its reliability, performance and functionality.  We are confident that this solution will help improve communications between students, faculty and the community."

"Centrinity is pleased that FirstClass has been selected by Tuskegee University," said Myles McGovern, president and chief executive officer, Centrinity. "Tuskegee University is well-known in the education sector for breaking new ground. Their decision to implement our FirstClass Collaborative Groupware and Unified Communications technology is an excellent example of this as it will enable them to cost-effectively enhance communications both internally and externally."

Tuskegee University enrolls more than 3,000 students and is the only university or college to be designated a National Historic Site by the United States Congress.
