OpenText™ FirstClass® 12.1 Service Pack 1 is Now Available
With
the newest release of OpenText FirstClass, available now, collaboration and communication have never been easier. FirstClass 12.1 Service Pack 1 (SP1) includes a number of new features and fixes designed to help connect and engage your teams like never before. Available across multiple platforms, Firstclass 12.1 SP1 delivers a rich online experience that lets you quickly and easily bridge the gap between in-person and digital communication.
What's New in FirstClass 12.1 SP1?
FirstClass Web Services
- Video Chat
With peer-to-peer video chat support for Firefox and Chrome, you can now quickly and easily video chat with your colleagues. Video chat support has been added for communications between FirstClass Web Services and First Class Server.
- Contact Enhancements
With FirstClass 12.1 SP1, you can export and import contact information to and from FirstClass Web Services. In addition, a new contact will automatically be created when you reply to someone outside of your organization.
- Voice Services
Customers using Voice Services can now manage their voice greetings and access voice messages, fax messages and text messages in FirstClass Web Services.
- Calendar Enhancement
With
calendar enhancements, you can import and export calendar items and create calendar events and tasks inside sub-calendars, making it easier than ever to manage your schedule, plan meetings and manage tasks online.
- Add Voice to Email Messages
The new Insert Voice function lets you quickly and easily record and attach voice recordings to your email messages.
FirstClass Server - Encryption
New encryption settings enable the user to change the number of encryption threads on startup.
- Indexing
FirstClass Administrators can now switch from File Mode to Full Indexing Mode, allowing them to view both content and permalinks in the search index.
Integration with OpenText™ LearnFlex - Single Sign-on
Support has been added for single sign on (SSO) between LearnFlex and FirstClass Collaboration Suite. This integration helps customers to capture, process, and manage all information for their online learning and collaboration initiatives.
